SCHOOL PROFILE
F. Serrano Don Bosco is a child- friendly school which aims to develop every learner’s potential for each child to become a well- rounded, and globally competitive individual who can make a LIFE, make a LIVING, and make a DIFFERENCE in the society we live in.
The School advocates the “NO LEARNER IS LEFT BEHIND” wherein the teachers and other stakeholders provide innovations that could help uplift the quality and high standard of education amidst the new normal.
FSES- Don Bosco community believes that the purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows, and it is the key which unlocks every learner’s potential. The school believes that education is the best antidote of poverty. It is our profound hope that each graduate will propel to greater heights as they become instruments of societal change and motivate others through the upliftment of quality of youth they are showing to the community.
To figure out the effectiveness of the teaching-learning process in an institution, and to reach and achieve high quality of education, its mission and vision must be aligned with the basic needs of every learner to attain academic and performance excellence.
In transcending out this goal, F. Serrano Sr. Elementary School-Don Bosco prepared this functional, operational and transformational ANNUAL REPORT for CY 2018.
All our internal and external stakeholders work in full force especially with this intellectual endeavour to meet with this School Improvement Plan (SIP) for 2015-2019 and Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) for 2018-2019. This plan will surely serve as our vehicle in implementing the school programs and projects. It will also be the guiding path in bringing out the resources to address the needs of the school.
The Annual Report Committee decided to have a meeting and prepared the necessary and needed documents. Series of conventions followed to convey the training obtained by the school head in complying SIP. Collaborative efforts by stakeholders in finalizing the plan were also conducted. It is truly commendable, the indefatigable and undying support of our stakeholders as well as the commitment flaunted by everyone.
F. Serrano Sr. Elementary School-Don Bosco aims to achieve both curricular and co-curricular excellence for the school to produce a well-rounded individual globally competitive and productive citizen of this nation as they grow in GRACE, WISDOM and STATURE before God and Man. This is done through improving teachers’ professional growth; intensify classroom instructions, upgrading instructional materials, integrate the uses of ICT in the lesson, maintaining school facilities and sustaining the development of the entire school system.
